The Last Blast

You know, i never thought people would check this blog, to see whether I actually wrote stuff in it. I found out last night that people are actually reading this.

The Last Blast movie night series is going well, and will draw to a close next week when the film Equilibrium is screened, and this will mark the final filme ever screened at the Pad. After this movie night, the cinema will be pulled apart and transferred across to the new place of residence for Rodney after he gets married. An era is ending. Thankfully, my friends are here to enjoy it with me.

Angie left us last night, looking tired and emotional (as you'd expect from somebody whose leaving in a day or so for another country until the end of the year) after the screening of The Emperors New Groove. We also watched some of Whose Line Is It Anyway.... absolutely classic and enough to bring a tear of mirth to my eye. I wish you could get those shows on disc or something.

Jimmy also enjoyed his last movie night at the Pad, announcing that his mothers birthday celebrations would prevent him from attending the finale of the Pads Last Blast Month.

Thankfully, the Movie Nights will continue later in the year (hopefully) after a setup process is achieved at the Simcock Street address. Lisa and I have come to the conclusion that the movie nights will certainly not be as regular as they have been once we are married. I guess this truly is the end of an era.

Blimey i feel awful. This cold is really annoying me... i have stuff running out of my nose that looks like its emerged from some alternate dimension.... where does this mucus come from? can anybody tell me? It dribbles and drains out and comes from a seemingly inexhaustable source.... kind of like the carrot dimension when you vomit, only a mucus dimension.....

Well, theres only a couple of weeks to go before I tie the knot. People keep asking if I am nervous. Why would I be nervous? I am finally getting what i want. I think the word people should be looking for is excited. Thats an adequate feeling. But not nervous.....thats for people who are unsure of what they want.

Going now to blow my nose and have a coffee.......

Take care all....

Best of luck Angie. See you in the new year....!!!!
