Grand Final
Well, the Crows weren't playing, but West Coast and Sydney battled it out yesterday afternoon in Melbourne, for the premiership fo the ALF for 2006.
What a game. West Coast won by a single point in one of the closest Grand Finals in 40 years. Not cince St Kilda defeated Catlron in the 60's has a Grand Final come down to such a close result. While neither Lisa nor myself support eaither of the two teams playing, it was one of the greatest Grand Finals I have ever witnessed. Skill, tension, contests around the ball.... the term "classic" gets bandied about far too easily these days; I think this Grand Final was deserving of the term.
Now, hopefully the Crows can make it to the GF next year........
Peace out!
